New Stuff!

Yesterday Jody, Olivia, Laura, Brenda, and I got together to make some cards and a scrapbook page with the new products.  There is truly something for everyone.  The ladies had some great ideas.  Jody's card is first with the burlap banners (burlap ribbon is 5 yds. for $7.95).  Olivia's card is next using the new Flirty paper packet.  Laura did a bang up job with the Celebrate card.  Did you notice the kerchief hanging from the pocket?  This card used our new Dakota paper packet.  Did you know that you can earn free gifts by hosting a gathering with just 2 friends?  A $250 gathering will give you $40 in free product and 50% off one item of your choice.  (You do pay the taxes and shipping on the product though.)  You can see some of the product and some of the artwork at the Yucaipa Farmer's Market on Friday nights from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. during the month of August.

I have been playing with the new Cricut Artiste cartridge that is exclusive to Close To My Heart.  There were so many talented artists at Convention.  I think I even remember a few of the ideas.  I will be posting some of the things I have been working on in the next week or so.  And they will be available to view in person at the Yucaipa Farmer's Market on Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m. in August.  In the meantime, please email me with questions or comments.

La Belle Vie and Sweet Music

This card reminds me that a good friend can play back the music of your heart when you have forgotten the melody. 

I just returned from Texas where I attended my first CTMH Convention.  It was fabulous!  There were so many talented and inspiring artists and of course there was all the new product for us to try out ourselves.  Jeanette Lynton, the Founder and CEO, is such a lovely and loving person.  I instantly felt a bond even though I never spoke with her face to face. 

I have been so busy telling stories of everyone and everything else, that I have never really told my own story.  I am going to start.  I am sixty three years old and I would like my grandkids to know a little about how I grew up and what made me the way I am today...even some of the bumps along the road.  Stay tuned if you're interested.  My story will be sprinkled in with the new art I will be posting as fast as I can make it.

The new Close To My Hear book will be available August 1st.  You will be able to view some of the art at Yucaipa Farmer's Market - Fridays from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.  I hope to see you there.  I will have the new books available at Farmer's Market as well.
