Japanese Tea Garden - San Francisco

I had a lovely trip to San Francisco in February to visit my sister - the best sister in the world by the way.  We had a great time seeing the sights that we used to visit regularly when we kids.

I am working on 5 layouts for the Convention in mid July.  I am hoping to be inspired with many new ideas to share with you.  I will post the layouts in late July when I return from Texas.  I will be visiting my sweet and wonderful friend, Shirley, who lives outside of Fort Worth.  It is great to be able to travel around the country - even if prices are a little high.  Sometimes we just have to enjoy life.  Don't you agree?

Right at home

I took this picture right outside my door last August.  When I came home one afternoon, the butterfly was flitting around the flowers and she was so lovely.  Yes, I asked the butterfly to wait while I ran into the house and grabbed the camera.  She was quite obliging.  Her under wings were an incadescent white.  I do not think that there is anything to compare to God's creation.

Anniverary Card

Hi!  It has been a busy couple of months.  I have been taking Tom to his doctor appointments and trying to be the second pair of ears.  I think it is a great idea for all of us as we get a little older.  I hope you enjoy this card.  It is really much prettier in person.  It has a white border which does not show up here.
