Did you know that Close To My Heart has digital scrapbooking available as well?  I have finished 3 of 5 layouts that I am working on for the Convention in July.  It is very easy to upload pictures and to drop them right into the layout.  The embellishments take some getting used to, but are not too difficult to navigate with a little practice.  Our digital scrapbooking is called Studio J and is very affordable for a trial or for a full membership.

Teresa, my beautiful daughter, and I are sharing a booth at Yucaipa Farmer's Market.  It is every Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  If you are in the Yucaipa area drop by and say "Hi!"  We have been partaking of the fresh produce.  It is great!  There are quite a few vendors and they are all personable andprofessional.  I have a sign up sheet for classes in scrapbooking, card-making, and using the Cricut.  If you can't make it, you can also call me at 909-747-2074 or email me with any questions.  Hope to see you at the Farmer's Market.

We are approaching summer.  My youngest grandchild was born on July 3rd...so I thought it would be fun to use a little red, white, and blue for birthdays that are coming up in the month of July.  I had some Fanfare paper left over so I will be using that up on these cards.  Don't you hate to waste paper?  This is a great way to use up some of the scraps you may have.

The journey...

It is another beautiful day in Yucaipa.  The weekend has been filled to the brim with festivities.  And thanks to all the people who participated in our new Farmer's Market and the Arts and Music Festival. 

You know, the journey is really the fun part of life.  All the people we meet, the beauty we see in every day life, and even the challenges along the way make up the total of our life's experiences. 

I have been scrapbooking for about 13 years now.  But I have never created a scrapbook for myself.  This year I am going to do that.  I am going to gather some of my thoughts, crazy though they sometimes are, and put them in a scrapbook for me and for my family.  I will try to give you a taste of who I am as I go along.  May God bless you richly in your journey.
