Cricut AP cartridge
The Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge is so versatile. I used it to make the shapes on which I stamped "Notes" and I also used it to quickly cut out the flowers. The tablet is 8" X 5" and I used a template to make the cover. This is a great way to use up some of your old scraps of paper and maybe make an inexpensive gift for a friend or co-worker. It is always good to encourage or inspire someone you know. I am always happy to share some of the "tricks of the trade" that I have learned along the way. Let me know if you would be interested in getting together for a class or just for a scrapbooking night.
Life Happens
I am back home for a visit in the midst of caring for Tom. Tom is healing well. He goes for his follow up visit to the triple bypass surgery on Thursday. He has lost about 30 pounds and is walking a little too. I am hoping and praying that he will keep up the healthier life style.
As for me, I have some catching up to do. So as soon as Tom is able to be on his own, I will get back to making cards, scrapbooking, and a little photography too. By the way, I lost a couple of pounds too. And I am planning on getting back to my daily walking routine which was put on hold for a short time.
God bless all of my readers and thanks to family and friends for their prayers.

A Personal Miracle
About two weeks ago, Tom and I were driving toward the freeway on Yucaipa Blvd. I was about to make a right turn when someone plowed into the back of my car. Tom has had chest pains for several years, and the hit to the back of the car got both his chest and back hurting so that he had trouble moving. It just so happened that a gentleman from our church came out from the business in front of which the accident took place. He had someone call 911 and came around to talk to Tom after I told him that I was not hurt as much as Tom had been. Anyway, the ambulance came and detected an irregular heart beat and took Tom to Loma Linda Univ. Med. Ctr. It turns out that Tom needed a triple bypass. Had it not been for the accident, he might have had a heart attack. When Tom's records were requested from another local hospital, they showed that he had had other heart attacks that he did not know about - the other hospital just sent him home saying "You'll be okay." Tom is now out of the hospital and doing well so far. I believe all of this happened for a reason...and God is definitely a miracle working God today as He has been since the beginning of time. There are so many other things that happened with this incident, I cannot begin to describe them all. But, for a major event in both of our lives, everything has been going relatively smoothly. Praise God!

Mayberry Paper Packet - Workshop on the Go
Here are my beautiful and fun granddaughters, Misty and Christy. Christy had a project at school with the little verse shown here. I loved it and made it into a permanent memory for her.
Treat Boxes with Cricut AP Cartridge
Good morning! Here are some treat boxes as we plan for Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day or maybe that ladies tea at church that is coming up. What a great gift to give to special clients if you are in business. I have the Art Philosphy Cartridge available and would be happy to show you some creative ways to use it.

Just a little fishey...
This card is much cuter in person. The stamp set is "Under the Sea" with Sky and Pacifica colors. Icolored the fishey with Copic Markers - great fun! The bubbles are made with our sparkles.

Sunset, Barn red, and Pear
Greetings! The colors in this card are a little out of "my" box. They are not normally something that I would choose, but it is an interesting combination. And it is always good to try something new. Let me know what you think...Thanks for looking.

Beautiful sister and handsome brother-in-law
I recently went to the San Francisco Bay area to visit my beautiful sister and handsome brother-in-law. I spent a little more than a week and they treated me like royalty. Tom made veal marsala, which is one of my favorite meals and it was made to perfection. And yes, we enjoyed a crab feed while we were there as well. God has truly blessed me with wonderful family!
