Morning Glories

Everywhere I look I see beauty.  The mountains with a light dusting of snow, trees standing tall and proud, the mist rolling gently in and disappearing again to give a clear view of the world around us...all these things are beautiful.

Sonoma Paper Packet and Sweet Moments Stamp Set

I am still having a bit of a challenge with my scanner.  My apologies, but I will not be able to get a new one for awhile.  The card is actually much better in this case.  I stamped the butterfly on the paper and cut a second butterfly out and adhered it on top of the original to add dimension.  The cameo is "popped".  I used the cricut AP cartridge for the shapes.

More fun with Cricut AP cartridge and Typeset Paper Packet

Okay, this is the last of the guy focused cards for this session.  I have been trying to get out of my "box"  and do a little of everything.  If you enjoy the cards, you might want to join me for my 5 card night the second Tuesday of the month.

Summer Breeze Stamp Set and Elemental Paper Pack

I think this is my personal favorite for the guy cards.  It was easy too.  I used "Wishes" how-to book Collage pattern.

Enjoy Life using Cricut AP cartridge

I have to give credit to my son-in-law, Michael.  I am a foo foo person so sometimes have trouble designing guy cards.  He has been humoring me by giving his stamp of approval.

Say It In Style and Fanfare paper

I have been without a computer for several days, but I am back on track.  I have a few masculine cards to show you.  I hope you enjoy!

Card Word Puzzle Stamp Set (C1494)

Here is another quick card - 10 minutes or less to make it using the Card Word Puzzle stamp set.  I like to have a selection of cards to choose from for birthdays, anniversaries, thank yous, and other occasions so that I can check my calendar for the month and pop the appropriate card in the mail.  I have two friends who have saved all the cards I made them over the years.  It was really neat to know they like the cards enough to save them.

Just a note...

Today my beautiful daughter, Teresa, wove my hair using lava (red) for the base and golden apricot highlights.  What a blessing!  She did a fantastic job.  I am now ready to get dressed up and GO...somewhere.  So I will be enjoying dinner with two of my very good friends.  I hope y'all have a great evening too.  I'm using the ""y'all" to get in practice for the Close To My Heart Convention that is going to be held in Dallas, TX in July.  In the meantime, I will try to keep up my blog and hopefully come home with some inspired art.

Altered Composition Book using Wings

This is an altered composition book using Wings paper packet.  The Art Philosophy cartridge is great!  It has over 700 images to cut.  What a great inspiration for your creativity!

Roxie altered Composition Book

Here is another example of an altered composition book.  This time I used the Roxie paper packet and the Card Word Puzzle stamp set.  I think this might be one of my all time favorite stamp sets.  It has a variety of words that you can mix and match and some lovely flowers and a butterfly.  You can see it on page 23 of the Idea Book.  If you would like a copy of the Idea Book, just contact me.

Pemberly Paper packet Altered Composition Book

Okay, I am at it again.  I love the Pempberly paper packet from CTMH .  Here is a "Journal" or whatever else you might want it to be - quick and easy.  I have done some scrap book pages too - just haven't figured out the best way to get the pics posted to the blog.  Can anyone relate.

One more Art Philosophy Card

This card was made using the Pemberly paper packet and the Color-Ready Wooden Shapes.  (Z1718)  The wooden shapes are really neat and a good value as well.  There are 24 stampable laser-cut wooden shapes in the package.  I used the Art PhilosophyCartridge to cut the flower shapes and then layered them.  The colonial white shape that the flowers are attached to are also a die cut from the cartridge.

Another Quick Card

This card is very similar to the card pictured below.  The image was cut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

Quick Card with Art Philosophy Cartridge

This card is quick and easy.  Cover front of card base with black card stock.  Cut baby pink or blush card stock 5" X 3.75"  Stamp pink card stock with message.  Tie black gingham ribbon around bottom of pink card stock.  Center pink card stock and adhere to black card stock.  Cut heart die cut from Cricut Art Philosphy cartridge using white card stock.  Stamp image with tulip and pop using pop up squares to the front of the card in desired location.

I apology for the gray shading on the card.  The scanner did not close fully and the light caused the shading on the card.
